"Feral child" is the latest project of the photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten (Julia Fullerton-Batten), in which she offers a look at the children who grew up under unusual circumstances.
Photographer gained fame after a series of photos of "Stories of teenagers" in 2005 when she studied the girl transition into adulthood.
Fullerton-Batten said that the book "Girl with no name" inspired her to search for other cases of feral children. So she collected several stories.Some of them lost, stolen other wild animals, and many of these  children have been deprived of attention.

In 1845, the girl ran on all fours with a pack of wolves chasing a herd of goats. A year later, people saw her again when she, along with the wolves ate goat. The girl was caught, but she escaped. In 1852, she was again noticed, fed two cubs. However, she ran away again, and since then the girl is no longer seen.

Oksana found in the kennel dogs in 1991. She was 8 years old, and they lived with dogs for 6 years. Her parents were alcoholics, and one day they just left her on the street. In search of warmth 3-year-old girl climbed into the kennel, hiding from the pooch.
When they found her, she was more like a dog than a child. Oksana was running on all fours, breathing, tongue hanging out, its teeth and barked. Due to lack of human contact, she knew only the words "yes" and "no."
With intensive care little girl taught basic social conversational skills, but only at the level of 5 years. Oxana Malaya now 30 years old, she lives in a clinic in Odessa and works with pets Hospital under the direction of its trustees.

Marina was kidnapped in 1954 at the age of 5 years old from a remote South African village and left in the jungle. Girl 5 years lived with a family of small monkeys, capuchin until it was discovered by hunters. She ate berries, roots, bananas, left monkeys sleep in tree hollows, and walked on all fours.
Once she was poisoned, and the older the monkey took her to the water, which forced her to drink until she pulled out and not recovered.
Girl friends with young monkeys, who taught her to climb trees and eat safe food.

This is a historic and well-documented case of feral child who carefully examined in order to understand the origin of language.
Victor saw at the end of the 18th century in the woods of San sulfur-sur-Rance in the south of France, he was captured, but escaped.
However, January 8th, 1800 he was again caught. Victor was about 12 years old, his body was covered with scars, and he could not talk. When news of his capture spread, many people wanted to learn it. It is believed that he spent 7 years in the wild.
Professor of Biology examined resistance Victor, sending him naked in the snow, and he stood the test well.
