Самые болезненные ужаления насекомыхНЕВЕРОЯТНЫЕ ФАКТЫ
Renowned entomologist Justin Schmidt (Justin Schmidt) once intentionally for a few years to expose yourself to some 150 different insect stings. And it was all done in the name of science.
The result of his research was the Schmidt scale, which assesses pain on a scale from 1 to 4 for the first time it was published in 1984 and supplemented in 1990.
The scale includes examples of the types of insects, assessment of pain, and a description of how their painful sting.

Help with insect bites

Symptoms of insect bites, such as swelling, itching, fever, breathing difficulties are the result of contact with poison or other substances into the skin. This may cause an allergic reaction or pain. Here's how to deal with insect bites: · Remove the tip (using tweezers or nail). · Apply ice to the affected area. · If you are stung in the arm or leg and lift it up. · Remove bracelets, rings or other tight fitting accessories with field stings. · Take a painkiller (do not give aspirin if the victim is less than 18 years) · If itching take an antihistamine. You can also make a paste of baking soda and water, or a remedy for burns. · In case of severe allergic reactions such as difficulty breathing, nausea, vomiting, tachycardia, severe itching, dizziness, fainting, seek for medical assistance.
