A woman over 60 years bears child

A woman over 60 years bears fruitAMAZING FACTS
Doctors in a small Chilean town of La Boca discovered fossilized fetus in the womb of an elderly woman, who did not even know that she  ispregnant.
Estela Melendez (Estela Meléndez), which has 91, argues that for many years in her stomach was swollen, but she did not think that it bears fruit.
Doctors said that the fetus is in the womb for more than 60 years, he turned to stone, and does not represent a threat to health.
A woman has a hearing problem and arthritis because of which her gait slowed slightly. For the rest, it feels good.

Only when she had recently fallen, doctors noticed something unusual in the x-ray. At first they thought it was a tumor, and appointed a woman operation. However, after the second X-ray specialists could not believe my eyes.
Education, which they considered a tumor turned out to be the fruit. The discovery was a real shock to an elderly woman. Manuel Gonzales (Manuel González), Melendez husband, with whom she lived for 74 years died in January at the age of 91. A woman always regretted that she and her husband have not been able to conceive a child.
"We have suffered greatly for this reason," - she said.
Doctors from the local clinic first considered the possibility of the operation to remove the fetus, but then came to the conclusion that the operation on the 91-year-old patient is much riskier than doing nothing.
The very Melendez says that although sometimes "swelling" hurts, in general, it does not give it much concern. She also said that it is a reminder of her husband and children unrealized dream all these years.

Lithopedion - stone child

Lithopedion - a phenomenon in which the fetus dies during pregnancy and calcification, as it is too big to be his mother's body could absorb.

From the Greek "lithopedion" translates as "stone baby" .Yavlenie so rare that only in stories are about 400 cases.
Lithopedion may occur during an ectopic pregnancy, where the fetus develops outside of the uterus.

To prevent the decomposition of the body inside and prevent the development of infection in the mother, her body begins to mummify the calcified fetus or calcium. Calcification - a kind of accumulation of salts in the body, which serves as a barrier against potential infections.
After fruit fossilized, it remains in the mother's body, and usually does not cause any complications.
