History of a photograph.
Photo portrait of the driver of the T-34, Mikhail Smirnov, after the fight.
During the attack on the German positions of the enemy anti-tank gun shell hit right in the forehead T-34. The entire crew was killed but Michael, who at some time had lost consciousness. Recovering, Smirnov hastened tank and broke into the German positions, crushed three anti-tank guns and destroyed another 30 enemy soldiers and officers from the machine gun.
