A man from India did not cut their nails for more than 60 years. Sridhar Chillan (Shridhar Chillal) from the city of Pune in India began to grow  nails from school and now holds the Guinness World Record for the longest fingernails.
The nails on his left hand reached a total length 909.6 cm.
The longest is the thumb, which reaches 2 meters and twists in tight spiral on the end. The length of the middle finger is 186.6 cm, the ring finger - 181.6 cm, the little finger - 179.1 cm, while the index - 164.5 cm.
As can be understood, the presence of such long nails could not be reflected in the life of an Indian.

"I can not move a lot, and because the night about every half hour I wake up and move his hand on the other side of the bed," - he said.
When asked what made him so long to grow nails, he said that he was punished for having broken a fingernail teacher when I was in school.
"My friend and I asked him why he beat us because of a broken nail, and he said that we can not understand, as never grow long fingernails, and do not understand how much care you need your nails to them for broken" - said Chillan.

It was then decided to Chillan to grow their nails. When they have grown long enough, he met resistance from friends and family. But resistance is even more determined to adopt it will never cut the nails.

Long nails a man

Of course, this has created countless difficulties in his way. He had to wash their clothes by hand because no one agreed to wash his clothes.

He could not find work, as employers refused to hire him. Nobody wanted to marry him. If the girl agreed, and her parents were against it, and if the parents agree, the girl did not want to marry such a "dirty man".
However, Chillan later married his brother's wife at the age of 29 years. He decided to cut the nails of his right hand and left nails on his left hand, trying to lead a normal life.
The Indian began to grow nails since 1952 for 62 years. Now when he was 78 years old, he wants to finally shave his nails and keep them in a museum.
